She Do the Taboo

(Darcie Deaville)
05-29
Jason Ecklund
My friend Jason Eklund wrote this song. He writes and creates and lives so much...he makes SO much of every day as an artist. I could make comparisons with past legends. I'll think about it and just say now... he's a hero of mine. I changed a couple of lines in this this song... with his blessing and help.
She Do the Taboo

I know a gal down Louisiana way
My twin sister Marcy... there ain't nuthin you can say
Well she'll blow you away and make a fool outa you
She'll leave you broken hearted you know you ain't nuthin new

(where's Marcie? She should be singin' this! )

Down in New Orleans where the summer streets are hot
I'l be sneakin down the street flauntin everything I got
Now it ain't no wonder why I'm passin you by
I know just where I'm goin and I got bigger fish to fry

I do the taboo.... I like the taboo
There ain't nuthin I won't do... I ain't never blue
I do the taboo

I don't tell my sugar daddy bout a single thing
And you married men are gonna hide your weddin' ring
You may see I gone to the other side of the tracks
I been gone so long I ain't never comin back

I do the taboo... I like the taboo
There ain't nuthin I won't do... I'm from the bayou too
I do the taboo

Out at night sippin on my drinkin glass
Yeah I'm weavin my spell on the three hundred dollar class
Now he says he's got the dough and his little friend
It cost you two times double how much do you wanna spend?

I do the taboo.... I like the taboo
I ain't never blue... I'm from the bayou
I do the taboo

I do the taboo.... I like the taboo
I ain't never blue... ... I'm from the bayou
I do the taboo
